The sport utility vehicle is a direct competitor to the Toyota 4Runner, and Dodge Durango. The present generation model is offered in various trim versions, ranging from base S 4×2 to LE Nissan Pathfinder off road 4×4 models.
Engine
The engines offered by the vehicle include a 4.0 liter V6 model that produces power up to 266 hp at an angular speed of 5500 rpm and torque of 288 lb ft at an angular speed of 4000 rpm and a 5.6 liter V8 engine that produces power up to 310 hp. Both the engines are mated to a standard 5-speed automatic transmission.
Features
The present model is suitable for both the off road capabilities as well as to the suburban styling. It offers styling and performance in a single comfortable package. The new features added to the current model include active head restraints, tire pressure monitoring control, anti lock braking system, navigation system with traffic updates and electronic stability control.
All the variants along with this model has the maximum towing capability of 6000 lbs. Though all the models are same in dimensions, the height of the car may vary based on the variant.
