The current generation model came with minor upgrades, when compared to its previous model. The upgrades include to the equipment packages, Bluetooth accessories and auto speed sensing locks.
Engine
The model offers two different engines- 5.6 liter V8 engine producing 310 hp and torque of 380 lb ft and 4.0 liter V6 engine that produces 266 hp of power and 288 lb ft of torque. Both the engines are paired to a five speed automatic transmission. 6000 pounds is the towing capacity of V6 engine, while the V8 engine has 7000 pounds of towing capacity.
Features
The vehicle offers either the four wheel drive or rear wheel drive. The model can achieve fuel economy of 13 miles per gallon in the city streets, while 18 miles per gallon on the highway roads. The safety features available as standard in this version include side curtain air bags, stability control, side impact air bags, and antilock disc brakes. The current generation SUV model has the capacity to accommodate up to seven passengers.
The model has more interior in comparison to the previous model. The features provided as optional in the model include navigation system with music box, dual zone automatic climate control, wood grain trim and power adjustable pedals.
