Engine & Performance
The Nissan Pathfinder V6 4.0 liter engine powered in the base model produces power up to 266 hp. With the powerful engine, the sports car can achieve fuel economy of 15 miles per gallon in the city premises, while it can achieve 22 miles per gallon on the highway roads. The V8 engine can achieve 13 and 18 miles per gallon in the city and on highway respectively. Standard to both the trim versions is the five speed automatic transmission with overdrive.
The power generated by the Nissan Pathfinder V6 is more over its previous engine models. On the positive side of the sports car, it has attractive cabin with good ergonomics, high towing capacity, V6 and V8 engines, off road prowess and generous cargo and storage room. On the negative side of the car, it has very congested second and third row seats, and the fuel consumption by the engine is more. Apart from the sporty features, it is also featured with all the safety features.
